*** update:10/3/2014 The overheat problem seems resolved ... need to verify before shipping out Warning: The laptop processor tends to get hot. * system crashed during the final check before shipping. need to be debugged. **UPDATE: 2014-06-22** Last Edited by User: krchow ##Troubleshooting - Difficulty with establishing wireless connection - Wired ethernet connection works - Initially, computer stated there was missing firmware - I updated the drivers (Start Menu>>Preferences>>Additional Drivers>>Activate) - I applied all updates from Update Manager (Start Menu>>System Tools>>Update Manager) ##Other Notes - Computer does get hot - Computer would crash and turn off - Suggestion: elevate the laptop during use - Removed battery during troubleshooting ##Action Items - Need to test the battery again - Need to double-check if all educational packages have been installed - Need to fix wireless connection
