Project description: 

CERBC is a Non Governmental Organization for Development. It is Christian, non-political and non-profit, specializing in the field of disability and headquartered in Aru—in the north in the province of Ituri. CERBC work directly with young with disability in special and inclusive settings. We provide primary, secondary and vocational education. For the secondary education CERBC runs a 4 years diploma course in Computer and Adminitration.
MAIN OBJECTIVES OF CERBC

1. Supporting inclusive education of children and youth with hearing, visual and physical impairment at all levels: primary, secondary, vocational and university in order to ensure their participation in social and economic life.
2. Training of special education teachers and local community-based rehabilitation workers to give them the capacity to assist people with disabilities in their own environment.
3. Provision of educational materials and equipment such as: sign language documents, Braille machines, computers, wheelchairs and tricycles etc. to help learners with disabilities to access education.
