das freut mich sehr, ganz grossen Dank. Deine Laptop’s dienen den Schülern und werden mit grossem Wohlwollen aufgenommen. Wir konnten uns davon überzeugen.

Ich Danke dir und allen Mitarbeitern für das vorbereiten der Geräte und dass Hand für Afrika davon profitieren darf.

Ich reise Sonntag 20. Januar bis 5. Febr. in den Senegal und darf die gute Nachricht gleich mitnehmen.

Ende November war eine Delegation von HfA in Senegal. Beim Besuch der Schule St. Augustin in Thiès bin ich im Office des Direktors Emmanuel Dione auf einen Labdoo-Laptop gestossen (leider habe ich die Labdoo-Nr nicht notiert). Es war eine Freude zu hören, wie sehr er den PC schätzt und damit zufrieden ist. Rechts auf dem Foto sieht man noch den ersten PC, welchen wir im Jahr 2008 geliefert hatten und nun definitiv ausser Betrieb ist. St Augustin hat 1’100 Schüler/Innen und ist eine der grössten Schulen in Thiès. Der PC wird also intensiv beansprucht.

Voilà, ein kurzes Feedback. Vielen Dank für eure effiziente Unterstützung, ihr macht wirklich einen hervorragenden Job.

Vorerst 10 Laptops als Pilotprojekt (diese werden am 21. Mai 2017 von Agnes Benz, Präsidentin HfA, nach Senegal mitgenommen).

HfA hat in den letzten 10 Jahren rund 500 PCs (WS und Laptops) zur Verfügung stellen können. Jedoch sind die Unternehmen heute aus Sicherheits- und Kostengründen immer seltener bereit, Computer zur Verfügung zu stellen.
