Bitte um Laptops für Marokko - Transport startet schon am 13.01.2017
Liebe Labdoo-Kollegen in Deutschland, gestern habe ich erfahren, dass ein LKW am 13.01. 10 Laptops mit nach Marokko nehmen kann. Leider können wir in Hamburg im Moment keine Geräte bereitstellen. Bitte um Laptops: Hawelti e.V. baut Schule in Äthiopien auf
Hallo zusammen, der Hawelti e.V. hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, eine Schule in Aksum, Äthiopien zu unterstützen. Im Oktober/November fährt ein Team aus Nürnberg für einige Monate runter, um dort beim Aufbau einer Gemeinschaftsküche, eines Trinkwasserprojekts, sowie eines Computerraums zu helfen. Bei dieser Gelegenheit können sie 30 Laptops mit nehmen. Wenn ihr welche dazu beitragen könnt...

USB-drive based solution for impaired users, add-ons and updates for images for cloning
Due to needs in projects for blind or visually impaired users the Labdoo team Germany invested much time in investigation and setting up new and improved solutions for handicapped users. Update minimum requirements of donated laptops
As times are changing, we should as well update our minimum requirements of donated laptops. Actually we ask for at least Pentium IV (4) CPUs. Linux is well known for supporting older computers, but release by release (L)Ubuntu needs more RAM and CPU power. So we recommend to drop Pentium 4 CPUs (end of 2001) and use min. Pentium M (mobile) CPUs (2003 ff.). Min. RAM of 512 MB, better 756 MB...

Monitor verfügbar: Acer AL1716 As / 17" / Bonn
Hallo! Ich habe hier einen Monitor, den man für gute Zwecke einsetzen kann. Es ist ein 17" LCD, leider nur mit einem VGA Anschluss. Er befindet sich zur Zeit in Bonn. Kann ihn jemand gebrauchen? viele Grüße Adalbert
