Unvalid download links and outdated installing instruction

Good morning,

I am new in Labdoo and, in order to improve the precious Labtix instruction guide offered by Labdoo, I wanted to point out the following aspects I didn't find very clear during the first installation process:

- although it is possible downloading the necessary software and content from sftp.ladboo.org (as explained here:
https://www.labdoo.org/content/connecting-labdoo-ftp-server), all the links in https://www.labdoo.org/content/labtix-labdoo-installer-and-autodeploy-ar... are not working as they point to http://ftp.labdoo.org/download/install-disk/ instead of http://ftp.labdoo.org/download/install-disk/. This could be missleading for new/less expert users.

- All guides in Labdoo webpage and youtube (at least the ones I found) refere to the installation mechanisms by using autodeploy_18.sh and install_content_labdoo.sh, instead of Labtix.iso (which in my understading includes the previous two scrypts). I would simply remove the instruction guides linked to the scrypts option, as the latter are no more available on Labdoo website for download. therefore I would only propose the Labtix.iso option.

Regards,
Matteo Vincenzi

Hi Matteo,

Thank you for your great feedback. One comment: The URL you are looking at is a message that Ralf sent more than a year ago, and so since then some of the URLs have changed. The latest information can be found under this wiki page:

https://www.labdoo.org/content/sanitation-guide-fast-restoration-method-...

Please let me know if anything is not clear.

Also, if you use the Labtix method, you don't need to use the install_content_labdoo.sh and other scripts anymore, because the Labtix is a full image which includes all the packages in one shot, so it really simplifies the process.

Please note that we are currently reviewing our Wiki so we are fixing things here and there. Let us know if any questions or if you find any mistakes as that is very useful feedback.

Thank you.

Good evening,

thanks a lot for your great help! As I said I am new in Labdoo and, as it is a voluntary and continuously evolving community, it is very easy that some link does not work or some pages remain outdated.

Thanks for the link to the wiki page and for sure I will let you know if I find something not completely clear in order to improve the platform for newcomers.

Thanks a lot for your great job.

Greetings,
Matteo
