Edoovillage #1426 - Kenya, Nairobi: Fountain Youth Initiative
Ubicación
We are grateful for supporting us (Fountain Youth Initiative) two laptops that are in perfect condition. They have replaced the old desktops hence able to keep power for more than one hour as well as being fast thus easy to use to train young people on basic computer use. The trainees love the two desktops and now every one is fighting to use them due to the above reasons.
Its my humble request that you support us with more laptops so that we can replace all the old desktops thus avoiding fighting among trainees as well as equipping more young people with basic computer skills since it has become a requirement to acquire employment in our country.

This is a registered community based organization in Kenya that operates in the informal settlements of Nairobi and rural areas on the western part of Kenya. The organization aims to nurture, empower and transform local young people to be self reliant, independent and key players in their community.
We are requesting laptops to implement Rise up with Computer Skills Project whereby we will equip local young people in the slums of Nairobi and rural areas of Kenya with basic computer skills so that they can compete for limited job opportunities.
Every year, we anticipate training at least 100 young people and the training will last for two months and will be in shifts.
Two teachers who are skilled and experienced.
[01.2020] supervisor visited the project and reported that laptop and tablet were used by the director's family and not being used for educational purposes. Due to this misbehaviour of the school management this project was closed, semaphore set to red! No more IT donations will be sent.
