Project Summary: (Please provide a brief statement about the purpose that the laptops will serve in your project site.) See: www.childrenofpromiseministries.org As a registered, Nambian welfare organization serving the orphans and vulnerable children of Namibia, Children of Promise Ministries Namibia will use these laptops and the educational programs that they are equipped with to assist our children in their learning. Many of our 80 children come to us after experiencing so much trauma that they are not able to cope in the public school arena and sometimes with difficulty only in our private school. Many of our children suffer with fetal alcohol syndrome which affects their learning ability. The software that comes with labdoo laptops might be just the key that opens the door to academics for some of our children. The laptops will be used for those students at our private school (Talitha Kumi Chrisitan Academy) that are most challenged in their learning.
