Compact English School is located at Handigaun, a quiet central district of Kathmandu. It was established by Mrs. Arati Shrestha on a rented piece of land in the year 2006. Today, with the support from her husband and a strong determination to establish a private primary school for children from middle-class as well as lower-middle-class families, Mrs. Arati Shrestha is running the school on her own effort. Compact English School charges low fee and has even provided scholarships to children who are from lower-class background. The laptops from Labdoo would be beneficial for students of from class 1 to class 7 which would open a window of possibilities for them to learn and explore the wonderful sea of knowledge.
