[User request] Where can I find applications that have been downloaded from the Linux Play Store, but can not be found on the laptop? The Play Store also says “Successfully Installed”. Can you tell us in which folder newly installed applications can be found on the laptop?

An installed program can be started in various ways:

Usually an installed program is automatically assigned to a category in the start menu, e.g. to office, internet, graphics etc. Then you can search for a program there, click on it and start it. Just go through all the categories. In rare cases, however, programs do not appear there.

Or you know the name of the program. Then press the Windows key or click on the green menu symbol with the mouse. In the selection window that opens here, a cursor flashes behind Suchen / Search. Start typing the program name or a keyword and then it should be be filtered and listed.

When the program you are looking for appears, either click it directly (left mouse button). Or click using the right mouse button and then in the expanded menu "Add", either to add it to the desktop or to the panel (bar at the bottom of the screen).
