When tagging a dooject just using one notification email works fine. But when adding a second mail something strange is happening. The entry of notification emails disappears. And is switched to "Ursprungsgruppe" entry (origin hubs). Please check, can be reproduced. Thanks.

Once the dooject is stored and you are modifying it you can add as much notification mails as you want. But when tagging the first time... there is a bug.

Same problem when creating an edoovillage (18.09.2015)

When creating an edoovillage -> Additional notification emails -> Add another item -> switched to Coordinating hubs entry, strange. Solved by -> saving (store edoovillage even showing strange data instead of mails), editing, now it was possible to add several e-mail addresses.

I just tried and it works for me, i tried both in English and German. To make sure i understand this error:

- Could you attach one or two screenshots of the error?

- Could you do it in English instead of German so it's a bit easier to debug?

Here is the sequence of data input, which causes the problem:

1. screen01: tagging a laptop -> as long as only one notification e-mail address is used there is no problem; if I would save now it would be ok. And to add additional notification mails after once saved is also not a problem.

2. screen02: but now I add a 2nd notification mail before saving, e.g. mine (but the problem can be reproduced with any other mail) -> save now and it
switches to

3. screen03: error message shows up and you can see that the entries are no longer for notification but became "source group"

I hope I could explain it. Just try, add a 2nd notification mail and it should fail...

Ralf, in our second screen (screen02.png), notice that you are adding an email address to the field "Source group", not to the field "Additional notification emails". That's why you get an error, because this field only takes 'hubs', not email addresses.

I just reproduced on my side and it worked, see attachment.

However, what is strange about your second screenshot is that the field "Source group" shows up after the field "Additional followers". Some there is not right, so maybe there is a combination of fields you select that trigger that.

Could you reproduce once again this situation and tell me exactly which fields do you set up and with exactly which values? then i will reproduce on my side.

Thank you for your comment, but you still do not understand the problem :D But this is (or better: was some seconds ago, before I did the screen shot) the entry for e-mail notifications, before it became by a software bug the "source Group". You are right, in the other tab there is source group entry, too. But in this 2nd tab I want to enter 2 or more emails, but I am not able. If dooject was created and saved I can easily add as much emails as I want, but not when creating it.

1. start to tag an dooject
2. try to enter a 2nd notification email, by pressing the button "Add another item" the
3. entry area for email addresses on screen will become "Source Group"

Same bug happens when creating an edoovillage. I have a suspicion. If you can reproduce it it is a general bug. If you are not able to reproduce it, it seems to give context with the bug that I have to press ""save" twice for any store-action (to store a dooject or this comment, create an edoovillage etc.).

I understand it Ralf. But like i said, i am not able to reproduce it with my browser. I tried with five different browsers/systems (firefox, chrome, chromium, safari and from an android phone) and same result, they all work fine. This could be related not to the Labdoo code, but to the underneath Drupal engine.

- Could you please report the browser, browser version and operating system information?

- Could you also try to reproduce this by using a different machine and browser type? does it fail in all your browsers and machines?

thanks.

These back and forth email conversations made me curious (since debugging is my daily paid job:) ... Unfortunately, I couldn't reproduce the same problem on my machines/browsers to help :(
