Having used Xowa 3.5 for nearly one year the images for cloning were updated to the actual release 4.2, to be used for the next months. All images for cloning dated later than 19.02.2017 will come with Xowa 4.2 and the matching simple English wikis 4.2.
If you are in the middle of a delivery it is NOT necessary to switch now to Xowa 4.2. You should finish work using Xowa 3.5, but soon you should download the updated images and use Xowa 4.2 and the actual content.
Beside updating and uploading the new images the Xowa wikis as well were prepared for an easy usage by Labdoo hubs and helpers. You will find the 4.2 wikis here: http://ftp.labdoo.org/download/wiki-archive/xowa-wikis/4.x/
In case you need a specific language please send a mail to Labdoo-DACH@Labdoo.org. We will upload an archive for the language you ask for. Download and install it as described in the Xowa wiki pages.
Xowa wikis 3.5 were tested running Xowa 4.2 – and they worked. But as 3.5 content is outdated since 1 year, please download and use 4.2 wikis.
There are 829 Xowa wikis available, even in rare or very local languages. Check out, so you might support your edoovillages with educational content in their special language(s).
