描述:
A non-registered user will not see the newsletter menu on top of the page, only users having signed in and having the right toedit newsletter will see the newsletter menu. For other users it is hidden in Explore --> Newsletters.
Why not stay in line with all the other objects, Hubs, edoovillages etc? Everybody can see a menu entry "Newsletter" and everybody can see "view". Only if your user has the right to edit you will see more options in the menu?
Beside that my user has lost the right to edit existing newsletter... Thanks.

The reason is because of the
The reason is because of the following:
- In the design newsletters are considered different type of objects at a different level of frequency usage/relevancy. The Labdoo Main Navigation Menu includes the four main Labdoo Content types (doojects, dootrips, edoovillages, hubs) plus teams, wiki and share wall. All these objects are top citizens in the design in the sense that they are expected to be used more often and therefore they need to be accessible quickly.
- There are two ways to access newsletters: as a reader or as a newsletter editor/creator. As a reader, you get to see it under explore ('explore' generically means 'read' rights, not 'write' rights). If you are a newsletter editor, then in addition you will have a new special tab in the main navigation menu called 'Newsletter'. This tab is to help you manage, create, edit your newsletter, but only you can see it as a newsletter editor.
- The tabs on the main navigation menu (MNM) are 'real state' expensive because they occupy space. If we keep adding everything there, the main navigation menu will wrap around and look awkward. Also, for people who are not newsletter managers, the design is made to simplify the MNM. If we put a lot of tabs in the MNM, for first time users that's too much information. There is already a good deal of info for new users, so we don't want to keep adding more tabs unless it's strictly necessary to help keep the MNM as simple as possible.
- Most of people don't access the newsletter via the website, instead, most of people will receive the newsletter via email. That's why there is no big need to put the newsletter with its own special tab. Even if we had it, most of people would not use it (people usually are not interested in reading 1 year old newsletters, they are interested in reading the newsletter when they get it on the email fresh from the oven). Whereas all the other tabs (doojects, dootrips, teams, wiki...) are there because their usage frequency is expected to be a lot higher.
These are some reasons about the current design.
Just added your user the rights to create newsletters.
