Support N Care Rehabilitation Centre has the privilege of being one of the greatest and largest non-profitable and non-governmental organizations affiliated with Social Welfare Council and the Ministry of Home and registered to the Chitwan District administration Office. Although SUPPORT ‘N’ CARE had started to provide service since 2003 It was registered in 2004 and working among people afflicted with chemical dependency and HIV. Nearly a decade of service the organization has evolved a module of non-discriminating, supportive community living, empowering people to introspect and bring about a change in lifestyle. It works for people affected by drug and HIV; both those directly involved and their families and communities. The issue of Neapl’s street children is easy to understand yet very hard to fix. Research suggests there are approximately 5.000 homeless children in the country. Some of them grew up with homeless parents, although many of them leave their family due to domestic violence or under the influence of their peers. Furthermore the economic situation at home is often too bad to support the children, in some cases the children are disintegrated and are forced to leave home.Over the last years Support N Care was also confronted with this issue. At the moment there are three children and young adults staying here, who either never knew their parents, left their homes or were sent away. Support N Care is making an effort to help them beat their addiction, provide shelter as well as food and clothes and re-schooling. With no outside support to provide for these childrens SNC is sending them to school and providing the required materials like a uniform, books and stationary. This project will help them to explore their education in a wider range. These equipments will support them in getting knowledge and education globally.
