The student-in-coding project is a project under the auspices of Africa Youth for Global Goals(AYOGG), a youth-based Non-Governmental Organization established in the year 2018 in Ghana by young people to create awareness, understanding, partnerships, and act for the United Nations 17 sustainable development goals and Africa Union's Agenda 2063. The project seeks to deal with SDG4 which talks about quality education for all, SDG9 which talks about the industry, innovation, and infrastructure, and then SDG10.which talks about reduced inequality. This project is very paramount to the leaders of the organization because we intend to train and mentor the next generation of programmers in the community and its Environs. Annual the organization organizes Inter-School IT quizzes and coding competitions among schools and this year we strive to make it better by soliciting Laptops (Computers) and IT-related tools to facilitate the project.
The organisation has hub in Gomoa Dominase and want to increase the number of Laptops in the hub and make it accessible to students in Gomoa Dominase and the Central region of Ghana, we computer engineers who are part of the team and responsible for the maintenance of the Laptops.
