END-OF-YEAR REPORT ON THE USE OF THE COMPUTERS DONATED BY LABDOO GROUP BY ST. LUKE ANGLICAN BASIC SCHOOL, AJUMAKO-BISEASE ON THE 18TH DAY OF DECEMBER 2018
“Rejoice for thy saviour has come”. It is with great delight we inscribe this end of year report. We are really grateful for the Lord Almighty and Ladoo. It will be an understatement to describe the benefits of the computers to our school and the youths of the community. Notwithstanding, few of the benefits are enumerated below.
First of all, the computers have improved the pupil’s interest in learning Information Communication Technology (ICT). Unlike formerly where ICT lessons were taught in abstract,
pupils now have hands on practical lessons. This creates and sustains their interest in ICT lessons.
In effect, creating a lot of relief for the ICT teacher since he talks less and allow the pupils to practice and learn more at their own pace. It’s a joyful moment seeing young children as early as P1, P2, P3 playing on the computer learning how to use the mouse and the keyboard and many more lessons in the curriculum.
Also, in the just ended terminal examination, the use of the computers has reflected a conspicuous and sharp improvement in the pupil’s performance in the ICT. We hope this will reflect as well in the imminent 2019 Basic Education Certificate Examination.
Furthermore, the existence of the computers serves as an enrollment drive for the school. More pupils are admitted day in day out. This actually is helping in increasing the enrollment of the school. This is actually putting more pleasure on the computers the school currently have. We will be gratified if more of the computers will be donated to assist us meet the overgrowing population in the school.
Finally, for the youth of the community, especially the old students of the school are always in the laboratory learning the computer.
To conclude, we seize the opportunity to extend our regards to all workers and family members of Labdoo. We wish you a merry Christmas and a successful and fruitful happy new year in advance.

The laptop will be very useful to the pupils in the community. Currently, the Ghana Education Service has inculcated the study of Information Communication Technology into the Basic Schools curriculum. Pupils from Basic One to the Junior High School study this subject and the subject is examined at the BASIC EDUCATION CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION (BECE). These computers when provided will help the children to acquire the requisite technological skills to fit into the technological world and also passed the required exams in the subject.
