Project description:

Problem/issues being addressed:
In order to cope with these obstacles, Comfy care12, launched the keep her in school project in 2021 in rural areas of Tanzania. Through this project, we learned that most public schools do not have inclusive infrastructure. Teachers lack skills and knowledge in ICT subjects and have never had the opportunity to test how to use technology in classrooms.
We also learned that from a professional development perspective, all teachers found digital literacy training beneficial and essential.
Target group:
The target group for this project is adolescent girls who are aged 9 years to 21 years of age.
Project objectives;
Comfy Care12 has a clear vision to ensure that every adolescent girl has access to quality sustainable education materials for ICT skills to support girls keep up with school both
remotely and physically.
The objectives:
To improve teaching pedagogy, increase content knowledge and increase access to learning materials for the teachers trained in this project. The practical use of computers and digital tablets will add a big role in girls success in education. Girls will be able to generate new ideas and gain new skills valued in any profession. To support students gaining digital skills, learning how to code (web design via HTML and CSS), choosing career paths online and searching for materials to help in their science subjects and exams.

Our goal is to reach out to more schools in rural areas of Tanzania, through the facilities like laptops we will be able to conduct more menstrual health sessions remotely with the school
girls.
