Hello everyone, This summer we have travelers from Barcelona going to Nepal. We also have laptops available from Barcelona that these travelers can take with them. If any of you has an edoovillage in Nepal and would like to receive these laptops please let us know and we will assign them to your project. I just modified the global macro stats to show the noun 'School' instead of 'Edoovillage' because the word school is shorter and more compact and as the numbers are growing we need a bit more space. I also did that change on the Main Navigation Menu found on top of each page, which also helps to keep it more compact (this also helps when using smaller mobile devices to access labdoo.org). It does...

The Labdoo images, which will be uploaded later than May, 16th 2016, will come WITHOUT PRE-INSTALLEDED CODECS. Due to that you will not be able to watch videos, DVDs etc. any-more on a Labdoo laptop, unless you run a script by yourself. Ubuntu and Mint decided to remove the restricted codecs and extras as well. Those distributions will be delivered without...

Hi @Jonathan, Just a quick query in case you know if there is something that can be done from Google's site. Our last newsletter (https://www.labdoo.org/content/labdoo-newsletter-global-201604) was submitted on Saturday, but this time around for people who have a gmail address, it's landing on their "promotions" folder. It used to be OK, so something in Google's algorithm is now pushing our...

This conversation can be used to collect your ideas and suggestions for upcoming Lubuntu 16.04 LTS. In a few weeks Lubuntu 16.04 LTS will be officially released. A pre-release can already be downloaded and tested. Labdoos dootronics should base on a stable version so I recommend to wait for Lubuntu 16.04.1, which should be available in May(?), 2016. For some weeks / months...

I know it is very strange to install and run a Linux OS (Lubuntu) within Labdoo project and to ask at the same time, if we should install an additional Windows theme (Windows look alike user interface). After contributing about 2.500 laptops to Labdoo projects during the last 4 years I got different replies. Some users like Lubuntu at-once, some ask for Windows, but stay with Linux, others...
