Sometimes it is difficult to have a common understand of colors. And there is no formal guideline so-far, which color code should be used within the Labdoo project. But sometimes you may be asked by supporters or supplier, which color codes should be used to print a poster or others. So here are (the subjective) suggested color codes following the Pantone color codes https://www.pantone.com/...

Please note that you need an actual Parted Magic (PM) Release 2018 ff. to clone Labdoo images https://partedmagic.com/downloads/. Please contact your local Labdoo hub to get further support. Using older PM releases, e.g. from 2012 or 2013, will cause an error (disc drive to small to clone to this drive) Hi Labdoo team, We are pleased to inform that a few days ago, in April...

Hello everyone, Unfortunately our anti-spam detectors were bypassed today so there was a series of spam messages posted in some of our team conversations. This is unfortunate, specially as we use advanced artificial intelligence algorithms based on Google's recaptcha technology. We apologize for the spam messages some of you may have received. We cleaned up all the messages and took some...

Hello everyone. Dominik here from Lowanatom, Vanuatu (edoovillage # 16269). We have a traveler who is leaving from Paris June 22th and can carry 5 laptops to bring them to our school. We have also a contact person in Asnières sur Seine (northern Paris outskirts) who can keep the laptops for us before the trip happens. Are there any hubs who could donate laptops for this dootrip or suggest...

Dear Labdoo helpers, just a quick update. Spanish and French pre-set images as there were some requests there are now pre-installed Spanish and French images for cloning available. The bad news: Due to the educational content in those languages these images need at least 80 GB disc-drives or larger. The good news: Beside adapting the keyboard layout (German is pre-set) and...

Hello, We have added a new feature to the Labdoo platform that allows for the automatic checking/discovery of broken links in any of our online pages and documents. This is important in that as our content (specially our wiki pages) are often modified, sometimes this leads to outdated/broken links (resulting in 'page not found' errors). This new feature (called 'broken links') will help you...

Pictures are a very important part of what we do at Labdoo, because they provide a way for people to see the results of our actions. Good pictures provide (1) transparency as they allow users to see their devices deployed in schools (and not piling up as eWaste) and (2) they motivate people to continue to contribute more laptops and tablets to needy schools. We are starting a small project...
